A Clustering Approach for Business Models of Iranian Banks; Analysis of Risks and Migrations

Various studies have shown that different banking business models are related to several variables will change banks' strategies and impose various risks. This paper examines the data from 2006 2021 for 30 Iranian banks while identifying affecting models. K-Means, FCM, PAM clustering approaches used cluster banks. Also, by analyzing liquidity risk, credit insolvency impact of model on risks is examined. In following, changes in examined carefully state 2006-2021. We found shifted SME-invested SME-operating during shock periods, reversed stable periods. Furthermore, large public a small tendency become large-funding period economic stability.
